Covert Surveillance
Covert video footage is often one of the key sources of the intelligence gathering process. Whilst the main purpose of this video footage is to gather vital intelligence it is often the case that at a later date this video will be used as part of the evidence in the prosecution of criminals. So in addition to providing situational awareness and intelligence gathering, today's covert CCTV systems also have to provide evidential quality video images and stills to be used in court.
