Security

TVI has been designed to work across both private and public networks to give a global surveillance capability. Security is paramount and all communications between the Encoder and Server can be encrypted as standard using AES 128 or 256 bit encryption.

The Encoder is the component most commonly placed onto a public network and to ensure secure access TVI provides;

• An access model whereby each Encoder must authenticate with its Server prior to being allowed to connect.
• Security through having no open ports on the Encoder due to the connection being initiated by the Encoder.
• IPSEC VPN.

Add to this our fully configurable client authentication hierarchy, and access to the streams from each Encoder can be restricted to authorized viewers only. Clients can similarly connect to a secure Server via an IPSEC VPN link.
